To be honest, stress is a big deal and it can disrupt someone's life. One of the major thing that help me to slow down is by observing a quiet moment. It doesn't have to be an intense meditation. Just a simple and calm practice.
I also try talking to someone when things get too heavy. Sometimes gisting alone can reset the brain.

What about you guys? What actually works for you?

I’ve noticed that physical activity really makes a difference, even a simple walk helps clear my mind. Deep breathing might seem silly. It genuinely helps when anxiety builds up.
