Honestly, I planned to do ten, but life responsibilities and challenges here and there might affect my plan. I’m on my fourth one now. Work might not allow me to focus as I wanted. Still, I try to read a few pages before bed. If I hit six by December, I will celebrate it
because it's about progress, not perfection.
Originally I had only read like one this year, but it slowly increased to like 20. Granted some were short books and some for younger people but ones I still enjoy.
I remember at least one year several years back actually hitting 100. Depends how much I'm reading and what I'm reading.
I figure it'll be 20 or more. Forget what I was at last time I counted (I keep a list in my bullet journal).

When this year started, I decided to read at least one book every month. sadly, I could not keep up with my goal. The year is going to end and I have not even met half of my goal. Maybe I would continue to have a reading goal for the next year, and I will try to reach that goal. Reading is a habit that has taken backseat in my life.
