I've seen a lot of people keep different animals as their pet. For example, I know someone who keeps roosters as their pets. This is animal we eat as meat but someone decided they are their perfect pet animal.
Would you ever keep a rooster as a pet without thinking about eating it one day?

You know I've really thought about it! Not as a pet but mainly, for fresh eggs. My neighbor keeps a few in her backyard. They appear quite easy to care for. The fresh eggs taste amazing. I might try it if I ever have a yard.

Honestly, my aunty has chickens in her backyard and I noticed that they're funny and interactive sometimes. The stress is in feeding and cleaning them, but if you like animals and you're calm, it's not a problem at all. Plus, you still have access to fresh eggs.

Not because they tend to be noisy as adults, but I have several friends who do have them and they are quite adorable, although sometimes they are a bit stubborn.
