I started creating forums in 2004, most of which I created were learning to run forums, and learning the different kinds of forum software that were available.
Over around 4 years, I spent time creating forums, and when they didn't do well, I ended up closing them. That was until 2009, when I created the first Chat Addicts, and it became a success. Unfortunately, I closed it due to costs rising for hosting, but by the time I closed it, it was 8 years old.
How long did it take you to have a forum that was successful? Do you still have that forum now?

I’ve never had a forum I’d call truly successful. My last one reached only about 100 users and fewer than 3,000 posts, so while it was a learning experience, it never grew to a large or highly active community. I have started a new forum last month and I hope to work harder this time and make it fairly successful
