In this day and age it's probably a good idea to start using a VPN if you're not already using one. I use a free one provided by Protonmail, I think a free VPN is fine but I am thinking about upgrading to their paid tier. There are limitations to what you can do with a free VPN, I believe I can't pick the server I want to connect to the program just picks a random US one for me. Also I know the UK has some strict laws now, a VPN could hopefully bypass some restrictions for you folk over there!

Yes, not always, but more than once I've had to use a VPN to protect my privacy on somewhat unsafe sites. This way I avoid being hacked and other issues.

No, I am not using a VPN, and never had I have never used it. There is no reason for me to use it. Some forum sites banned members who are using a VPN. It could also be significant for a user to be safe from hacker-scanning styles.

There are sites that are suspicious and I need to use a VPN on them. I usually don't use a VPN on regular trusted sites that I frequent. But I have a VPN installed on my phone and anytime I visit a site that I have never visited before, I will activate the VPN.

No i don't use VPN, i find them pretty stressful to use. The only time i can use one is when the situation calls for it, like i need to work on a site that requires the use of VPN.

I've used one in the past to watch certain Hulu content but because New Zealand now has Hulu on Disney+ I don't need to anymore.

I have regulated sites that I visit. You won't see me jump from one unknown site to the other. That's why I don't think I would really need a VPN. That's because the very few sites that I visit don't have dubious activities that can predispose one to identity theft.
