For me, it’s The Fault in Our Stars. I watched that movie after reading the book and I must tell you that it's the best book to movie adaptation that I have ever come across.
They actually captured the emotion perfectly like you could feel every line as it was in the book. Most times, the movie version just messes things up, but this one? They nailed it. What’s that one adaptation you think they did justice to?

Hmm.. tough one because often the film version is nowhere near as good as the book.. they always change things in the film version and it drives me mad.
For example..Dracula.. the one with Louis Jordan was the closest to the book.. but.. in the film Mina and Lucy were sisters.. NOT in the book… also they had Lucy going to marry Quincey P Morris.. she was marrying Arthur.
Salems Lot… Susans father was NOT a doctor… her ex was called Floyd not Ned.. Bonnie was not having an affair with her boss… Ben Staked Susan in the cellar of the Marsten House.. she didnt follow him later…I could go on all day….
