Hello,
I was trying to upload my avatar, but I encounter errors saying about the image dimensions.
It's the same avatar I use everywhere... but phpbb is focused on the dimensions.

You can either remotely upload it via a link and choose the maximum width or I can do it for you.

That is the one thing that annoys me with phpBB. It doesn't think to resize automatically

I tried with linking it, but it said something about the url too. (i was linking the avatar from other of my forum's profile)

Yes, you can upload it for me. But the problem would persist for other users as well.. Try to make it easier... I don't know much about phpBB.

Can you please try uploading again? I think I've fixed it.

Also, I tried to upload a screenshot here and the only option is to link an image... No option to upload images on posts...

The limitations:

Current image:
Maximum dimensions; width: 150 pixels, height: 150 pixels, file size: 9007199254740992.00 KiB.

The forum should be able to auto size the images. Nobody will be just editing an image just to upload an avatar.
Try to find an extension that does this automatically.

This is the error thrown:
It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct.
The submitted avatar is 0 pixels wide and 0 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high, but no larger than 150 pixels wide and 150 pixels high.

I was able to download the image from Forum Coin profile and then it worked. Possibly the way avatars are saved on XF forums it doesn't upload right for phpBB forums. I assume it won't affect too many people because most people will have their chosen avatar on their phone or computer to upload.

There is 'Attachments' but you need to go into the full post reply for the topic. There's no way to upload images in quick reply.

Attachments are now able to be posted in quick reply.
