The way that the young people are using smartphones, it is certain that they would use smartphones to distract themselves. In the school I taught, smartphones were not allowed to be brought by students. But some that sneaked and brought smartphones were chatting or watching videos while I was teaching in class. That's the reason smartphones should be banned in high schools.
