I'm afraid her family would blame me for bad things happening to her because I enable behavior, but then again, she's an adult.

I understand that as I know if my fault but its so hard when my husband eats junk. :(

When I was in the hospital for my HIGH blood sugars they said it would be a good idea if they put me on the pump. Not sure if my doctor wants to do that or not. Right now I just take a shot.
I wouldn't say NOT to do a pump, it's handy if you're going to be on insulin for the long term, like me. It's expensive, though, supplies aren't cheap, even with insurance, and it can get messy when they decide they want to have an attitude about things. But mostly it's a great way to just set things up and live your life. Bolus for a meal and you're done.
