I want to be a nurse and work with kids and babies but that dream was crushed. Now I want to work with the elderly by volunteering at the nursing home near us.

You shouldn't give up on working at the nearby nursing home. I wanted to become a doctor while growing up, but my parents only focused on pushing me to learn finance. Far as hobbies always like reading and writing. Though haven't really written in years. Sometimes I think about going back to it. Used to draw a lot too.
